About The Owner

  A man of taste and multiple talents from Compton, California - a Retired U.S. Army Soldier combat veteran with over 20 years of continuous service - I first began in the food service business as a back-up cook with my late mother, Luretha Edwards, the Family Caterer, from 1986 to 1991. While catering to family and friends for all social functions over the years, I watched my mother prep, cook and serve everyone who attended events she catered.
  After traveling around the world with the military, I tasted bar-b-que from all around, not experiencing the same satisfaction that my mother's bar-b-que. So began my journey to reproduce my mother's classic recipes. My goal is creating delicious bar-b-que that will overwhelm every taste bud in your mouth with love and care like my mother did.
   I want nothing more than to make everyone who encounters my bar-b-que to have an experience with time-honored recipes for authentic, slow & low smoked Bar-B-Que with homemade side dishes. Providing down-home southern hospitality, generous portions, yet at prices everyone can afford.
